Overview

Málaga combines one of the best climates in Europe with beach, an international atmosphere and excellent transport connections. It is a very pleasant city to live in, although its rising cost of living and weaker university identity place it a step below the most iconic Erasmus destinations.

Student Vibe

Málaga has an active and diverse Erasmus community, but the city's atmosphere doesn't revolve mainly around students. Social life blends with tourism, digital nomads and locals, creating a more international than university-focused experience. It is easy to meet people and join activities, although the feeling of belonging to a large student community is less intense than in cities like Granada, Seville or Bologna.
